Our Gourmet Fresh Mexican vanilla beans are imported directly from the Papantla Region on the Gulf Coast of Mexican. This region is the birthplace of vanilla. The Totonac Indians have been growing and curing vanilla in Papantla since pre-Columbian times.
The special curing process that has been perfected by the indigenous Mexican vanilla growers affords these wonderful Mexican vanilla beans with a superb vanilla aroma with rich chocolaty undertones. Enjoy in all of your favorite dishes!
